About us
So you want to know about me?.... Well thats my ugly mug on the picture. Im 31 years old, and for the last 15 years have been driven mad by my older brother who keeps coming up with these hair-brained ideas about racing stuff. Just so long as it makes LOTS of noise and goes like a rocket, he will have a go. It normally starts with a phone call "Allan, ive had this great idea , get to mine as soon as possible, ive got a little job for you". We have raced everything from Jetski's to Endurance cars, and everytime, muggings here gets the job of sorting it for him.
It's thanks to my brother Phill and good friend Stuart Emery (EMtech Rallycross) that inspired me to set up Mechbuild. The idea is simple. If you want to have a go at motor racing, but are unsure of all the technical jargon, ring me. MechBuild is here to help in anyway, from the odd day-help with set up and safety issues to full builds, track side assistance and major rebuilds after little indescretions into the tyre wall!! (see pic of Stuart Emery in picture section) Whatever your needs, we can help.
All we ask at MechBuild, is you have a good sense of humour, a LARGE biscuit tin, but most important of all, a strong passion for racing !!!!
